Senior Designer

 

The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Senior Designer to join an innovative creative agency. This role is for someone with a diverse skillset and a focused mission to make all the beautiful things. It has a strong focus on visual identities, design systems, and all sorts of unique challenges. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with the Design Director, Strategy Director, and CCO.

JOB OVERVIEW

You are a UX expert, skilled in both research and design. You’re able to think strategically to solve complex problems, collaboratively, with both stakeholders and team members.

You are a self-starter and UX leader, able to guide clients through discovery workshops, conduct one-on-one interviews, undertake surveys and otherwise perform your own research as you deem necessary to inform your UX own strategies.

Working in our clients’ best interests is key. So is proactively collaborating with our diverse and talented team. Big egos and design rockstars need not apply.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual, strategic, and beautiful designs across a variety of media

  • Present work to clients and the world in all the ways work is presented

  • Provide direction for intermediate & junior designers

Required Experience

  • A killer portfolio with a wide range of projects and clients

  • 6+ years working for an established agency or design studio

  • Proficient in all the programs (Ai, Ps, Id, Pr, Ae & Keynote… yeah, Keynote)

  • You’ve developed comprehensive design systems for clients big and small

Your Nice-to-Haves

  • Pro-level video editing, animation, and motion skills

  • Solid understanding of a mainstream 3D suite (ideally Cinema 4D)

  • Illustration, sketching, or hand lettering capabilities

  • Experience designing products and/or physical spaces

  • Seasons tickets to the Raptors + a strange desire to take your new coworkers
