Account Executive, Inbound Sales (Customer Success)

 

CURRENT SITUATION

We’re looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Account Executive, Inbound Sales to champion the inbound sales funnel activity.

The Agency is a leading Presentation Design and Consulting agency based in Toronto and one of the best kept secrets for many startup founders, technology VCs and corporate and not for profit executives across the globe. What started as a side hustle for two university students in 2010 has rapidly evolved and has been making an immense impact on some of the world’s most elite brands.

Business is coming in at a rapid pace and the agency needs someone who can jump in and take the reins. As the first touchpoint to, you will oversee all inbound emails, telephone calls and website inquiries and facilitate new business presentations to close new business.

The Agency is a fast-paced, high growth organization working with some of the most renowned brands across the globe. As an active listener and curious individual, you’ll be able to speak with prospective clients to understand their business and their individual unique needs. Working with account and graphics teams across the agency, you’ll be able to articulate client needs so that the best solutions can be identified and adapted into the project scope of work.

An independent, self-starter, you have the confidence to showcase The Agency’s offerings and speak to the value add to prospective clients. You’re able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and actively communicate with open leads to ensure their questions are answered in a timely and proactive manner.

The Account Exec, Inbound Sales is a newly created position that comes at an exciting time for the Client as they continue to increase their service and product offerings.  

JOB REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS

  • Respond in a timely manner, booking meetings, setting up follow-up client calls.

  • Initiates and participates in new business pitches to in-bound prospects.

  • Excellent communicator and listener to understand client needs and identify new business presentations and consulting opportunities.

  • Have an instinctive understanding of clients and ask thoughtful questions.

  • Providing consistent, concise, accurate internal and external communications.

  • Bringing in other team members when required to close the deal.

  • Providing timely weekly/monthly sales lead generation activity reports to management.

  • Working collaboratively in a team environment and independently.

Requirements

  • Highly articulate, outgoing, energetic, an excellent communicator, writer and presenter.

  • A thoughtful sales consultant or customer success leader with zero tolerance for a salesy or car-salesman persona.

  • Active and curious listener who knows the right questions to ask.

  • Ability to influence and have the hook to close deals.

  • Confident in driving recommendations and articulating communication plans.

  • Ability to juggle a wide range of project initiatives - balancing quality and speed.

  • High attention to detail, can organize and manage new business CRM.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communications skills, polished interpersonal and influencing skills.

What You Bring:  

  • 2 - 4 years of inbound sales and business development experience.

  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Ability to multi-task daily projects.

  • Must have strong inner drive and self-discipline,

  • Proficiency with Pipedrive (or similar CRM platform),

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Thirst for Startups, technology and the design world.

  • Passionate about selling and the value of the service offerings of the company.

  • Understand client needs, goals and identify and recommend solutions

  • Compelling storyteller and the skill to listening to clients.

  • Highly responsive to client communications.

  • Hands on experience with platforms like PipeDrive, SAP, Oracle, IBM, Enterprise Software, DocuSign, PM software, and MS Office.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Platform like ClickUp or have the will to learn the program with minimal training time. 

  • PowerPoint skills or willingness to brush up on it.

  • You’re supremely organized.

  • Bold and strong leadership skills, so you can take the reins.

  • French to communicate with clients.
