CURRENT SITUATION
Ari Agency is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist with a strong performance marketing background, who will champion the oversight of all digital media, social media and on-site performance. Our client is a Canadian pioneer and global leader in the HVAC who offers large marketing budgets, strong mentorship from a digital leader and so much room for professional growth.
You bring strengths with paid search, social advertising, ecommerce, banner ads, and display implementation. You understand email marketing and how it integrates with broader digital marketing initiatives, while demonstrating strong understanding for performance reporting and are bold enough to make your own decisions.
As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role identifying new acquisition opportunities while elevating existing performance marketing initiatives and driving advanced optimization techniques. You’ll focus on driving qualified site traffic and sales through the effective use of various digital marketing channels and the day-to-day implementation of campaigns.
You’ll report to the Director of Ecommerce & Digital Marketing, while collaborating with the internal analytics, boarder marketing, eCommerce and Graphic Design teams, in addition to managing 3rd party agency relationships.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS
Laser sharp focused and able to identify consumer awareness/acquisition opportunities by target audience and marketing channel.
Develop and project manage marketing/communication digital initiatives, including paid advertising, social, native, affiliates, influencers, email communications, and website promotions.
Collaborate with the ecommerce team, marketing/communication team, external agencies and vendors to deliver and optimize digital marketing/communication programs.
Spearhead a robust and engaging social media strategy for the company, including contributing content and building engagement on all social media platforms and finding opportunities to leverage internal content externally.
Support the development and management of the company’s leadership teams digital profiles and their communications.
Track metrics to support the effectiveness of both internal and external communications.
Work with Analysts and 3rd party suppliers to compile, review and communicate monthly/quarterly qualitative and quantitative reports on digital marketing performance, defining and driving actionable insights for future efforts; communicating best practices and sharing lessons learned.
Work to gain efficiencies and scalability within processes and protocols as it pertains to digital marketing execution.
Monitor competitors’ successes and shortcomings, as well as relevant brands that exhibit best in class digital marketing programs.
Keep informed and up-to-date of industry activities as well as new digital approaches, resources, opportunities and best practices.
Explore, examine and introduce innovative new techniques, programs, formats and channels that can improve campaign performance and/or ROI.
Coordinate social media campaigns (Hootsuite, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Tik Tok), email & SMS campaigns (Moblico, Klaviyo, etc)., campaign landing pages. marketing automation platforms, prepare and adjust content and call-to-actions and optimize campaign towards maximized ROI, engagement and qualified lead generation.
Develop recommendations for new growth initiatives and platforms, programs and initiatives that scale customer acquisition.
Requirements·
Strong familiarity with implementing best practices in all marketing/communication digital functions such as: acquisition marketing (email, banner ads, online video, paid search and SEO, etc.), and web analytics.
Experience working with and managing agencies.
Ability to easily turn ideation into detailed execution.
Strong leadership and communication skills to drive recommendations, articulate trade-offs, and communicate plans.
Ability to juggle a range of project initiatives, balancing quality and speed.
High attention to detail, across both business and technical domains.
First-hand, in-depth experience with digital marketing, marketing automation tools and marketing operations and promotion platforms.
A strong background in campaign marketing, with a focus on demand generation, profiling & segmentation, database marketing, and content marketing.
Excellent verbal, written and visual communications skills, polished interpersonal and influencing skills.
Ability to build relationships and manage external vendors.
Highly organized, detail-oriented and collaborative.
Energetic and self-motivated.
What You Bring:
BA/BS, equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of B2C knowledge. B2B digital marketing experience is an asset (acquisition campaigns, email drip programs, SMS messaging campaigns, funnel optimization, promotions and/or merchandising).
3-5 years of direct oversight of some or all the following: digital marketing, social media marketing, promotions, influencer marketing, partnership marketing, funnel optimization, Ecommerce promotions.

B2B Performance Marketing: You are someone who can drive conversion outcomes – ad clicks, lead, sales, installs.
Platform Experience: Hands on experience with ecommerce platforms like Magento, Shopify, ERP and B2B commerce workflows
Social Media Advertising: You understand social media advertising and how it drives customer acquisition and retention.
Analytical Skills: Proficient with performance reports, analyzing data, providing recommendations
Organizational and Problem Solving: Effective planning, prioritizing, goal setting, problem solving
