CURRENT SITUATION

Ari Agency is looking for a Digital Marketing Project Manager wizard,  to champion corporate digital project plans. Our client is a Canadian pioneer and global leader in the HVAC who offers large marketing budgets, strong mentorship from a digital leader and so much room for professional growth.

You’re masterful in the way you balance multiple projects and competing deadlines.  Your background includes either a PM or Agile certification, and a track record of managing digital media and marketing projects. As the quarterback of all digital projects, you’ll wield your magic to wrangle internal resources, ensure budget, quality and timelines are tracking to plan while keeping the Director Ecommerce & Digital Marketing abreast of any developing issues. Types of projects include, site launches, online tools, web applications and digital campaigns. You’re a tech-savvy project professional with deep understanding of how project technology can help The Company achieve their business goals. You are methodical and have sublime time management skills. As a Digital Marketing Project Manager, you have razor sharp communication skills that support your abilities to collaborate across diverse teams with maturity, calm and ease.

You’ll report to the Director of Ecommerce & Digital Marketing, while collaborating with the Customer Operations Manager, Ecommerce Manager, PIM Manager, Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and Graphic Design teams, in addition to managing 3rd party agency relationships.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS

You’ll work mostly remotely and come into one of The Company’s Offices (Ont, Que, Alberta, Atlantic Provinces or Manitoba). The Digital Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of all corporate projects across 3 core areas: PIM, Ecommerce and Social & Digital Media. Project lifespan averages 3 weeks to 6 months. 

  • Provide end-to-end digital project management and make sure it is aligned with the company and the department vision

  • Drive the ongoing project meetings and ensure the smooth running and efficiency of these meetings

  • Scope project requirements and prepare budget

  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to design timeline and implement digital projects

  • Develop a detailed project plan, monitor progress, team, timing, and budget

  • Provide status report on the projects to project team members and stakeholders

  • Identify and find solutions to roadblocks

  • Deliver projects on time ensuring quality standards are met

  • Create support documentation including risk logs and requirement specifications

  • Communicate with the team and ensure all members are on board with delegated tasks

  • Highlight potential risks or malfunctions and act proactively to resolve issues

  • Stay current on best practices, and emerging technology to improve the strategies

  • Support QA process

  • Assess and evaluate the project success

Requirements

  • Hands on experience with project management software e.g. JIRA

  • Experience with enterprise marketing and ecommerce systems i.e. Magento, Shopify

  • Familiarity with Content Management systems and HTML/CSS

  • Understanding of SEO and Google Analytics

  • Solid technical background with an ability to address accessibility and compatibility issues

  • Excellent organization and time management skills

  • Eloquent communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to mobilize cross-functional teams towards the achievement of a project

  • Ability to influence and facilitate changes

  • PMO, PMP or Agile/Scrum certification(s) is an asset

What You Bring:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Digital Marketing or relevant field

  • 5-7 years of experience in digital project management
