Their portfolio of firms includes some of the industry’s top experts who specialize in targeted marketing and media segments.

The Talent Acquisition Manager will work closely with the leadership team across each company to recruit and retain talent. As a member of the Human Resources team, you will own the employee experience from application and interviews to job acceptance and onboarding. You will work closely with the hiring managers to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies that will attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent.

This is a full-time salaried position, with work from home or office flexibility (40 hours per week). Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Preference will be given to candidates who will work a hybrid office schedule in any of the US office locations (Columbia, MO, St. Louis, MO, Kansas City, MO and Minneapolis, MN). Open to fully remote if outside any office location (more than 50 miles) with travel required as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create an effective hiring process with an exceptional candidate experience.

  • Attend career fairs and career opportunity events. Build relationships with colleges and universities to create awareness of holding company job openings for students & graduates, building a pipeline for interns, part-time and full-time hires.

  • Use a multi-channel approach to recruiting (job boards, social media, community outreach).

  • Understand the media agency professional environment. Dig into each company to gain an understanding of the skills, personality, and talents needed to be a successful employee.

  • Develop a partnership with hiring managers, understand the needs of each job opening.

  • Create job postings, screen applicants, schedule. interviews, present top candidates to the hiring team.

  • Be the primary contact for the candidate, making the application to hire experience engaging.

  • Follow through beyond first day experience. Help enhance the Onboarding experience for the new employee and coworkers.

  • Post jobs and source candidates on job boards, resume databases, professional networks, and employee referrals.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies relative to recruiting.

Requirements

  • Full cycle recruiting experience in a high-volume, fast-paced digital marketing agency environment (as a recruiter or team leader) OR full cycle digital marketing recruitment experience at a recruitment agency.

  • Comfortable supporting multiple hiring managers and leaders.

  • Experience collaborating with team members and hiring managers across multiple locations and channels.

  • Strong presence and network within LinkedIn related to connecting talent with employers.

  • Superior communication and relationship building skills shown to all parties throughout the recruitment process.

  • Thrives under pressure and deadlines.

  • Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g., structured, behavioural).

  • Able to manage multiple priorities for multiple stakeholders quickly and efficiently.

Experience

  • 2-3 years professional experience managing all phases of the recruitment and onboarding process in talent acquisition OR as a digital media professional who has hired for your own team.

  • Experience with the digital industry.

  • Experience recruiting for roles in the digital space: e.g., digital marketers, graphic designers, UX/UI, data analyst, etc.

  • Exceptional project management skills.

  • Experience with one or more HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), or Candidate Management Systems (CMS).

  • Experience with various selection processes (phone interviews, culture add, reference check, etc.)

  • SHRM or related Talent Acquisition specialty credentials a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, degree or concentration in business, human resources, marketing, or communications preferred.
