The Opportunity

We're looking for an innovative Media Manager to work for one of the top retail brands in North America.

The head office is based in Montreal. Ideal candidates are located in Montreal or open to relocating to Montreal in 2021.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Responding to the growing demand to acquire new consumers and increase brand consideration in North America, our client is seeking an experienced & strategic Media Manager to oversee media strategies and performance marketing. This position reports to the Senior Director, of the North America division.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that media campaigns align with brand priorities and strategic business goals

  • Leads the relationship with the AOR (agency of record) to develop and deploy integrated media plans that will achieve outlined goals across online and offline channels

  • Leads the development of full-funnel marketing campaigns based on historical results and future needs (weekly, quarterly, seasonally) and consistently find ways to refine and adjust based on real-time performance

  • Ensures creative requirements are properly briefed into the Content Development team for timely delivery of assets and flawless execution

  • Oversees performance of media plans to maximize impact on traffic and sales for both online and store businesses – forecasting business metrics such as volume, revenue targets, ROI and KPIs

  • Collaborates with Brand Content & Development, Commercialization, Consumer Insights & Analytics teams and more to optimize marketing spend to deliver profitable results to the business

  • Shares best practices with other internal geographies & brands

Required Experience & COMPETENCIES

  • 4+ years of marketing experience with strong knowledge of digital and integrated media

  • In-depth understanding of key levers that impact brand consideration, drive traffic and influence conversion

  • Able to hit the ground running with hands-on experience in media planning, negotiating, executing and optimizing Print, Out of Home, SEM, Programmatic, Mobile, Display, Video, Affiliates, Social Media, and Shopping Feeds

  • Experience managing and executing budgets

  • Experience managing 3rd party vendors and agencies

  • Highly organized, detailed-oriented with skills in multitasking and project management

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Digital / eCommerce experience a must, retail experience an asset

  • Energetic, positive personality who takes initiative and functions well in team environments
