Senior Account Lead

 

Our client is looking for a passionate Senior Account Lead to join their growing, dynamic, creative (and fun!) team.

This role will be remote and be expected to work during EST office hours (9am - 5pm Eastern Time), with room for flexibility.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS

As Senior Account Lead, you’ll focus on taking enterprise/B2B accounts to the next level, ensuring account health, and quality assurance. You will lead B2B agency clients through their digital inbound, content and brand strategies. You have solid client relations, project management and analytical skills, are a strategic thinker, and problem solver.

  •  You have a strong understanding of both agency and client-side and have experience working on one or both sides.

  • You have strong client management and project management skills and will look after all day-to-day requests with minimal support required

  • You are a strong leader that has experience working with graphic designers and other creatives and knows how to effectively brief creatives and draw the best quality work out from their team.

  • You are a do-er and ready to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Management/Leadership

  • Independently manage accounts and run all internal and client meetings.

  • Ensure deliverables are executed on time and on budget.

  • Act as an extension of your accounts’ marketing teams, ensuring that their needs and objectives are met and exceeded, while also being the clients voice, communicating updates and managing expectations

  • Effectively communicate the needs of both the agency client and internal teams ensuring efficiency and the highest standard of quality.

 Project Management

  • Manage ongoing projects and tasks in the delivery of marketing programs and services for your accounts.

  • Coordinate status of tasks and timelines leveraging the clients software - internal and client-facing.

  • Lead the assignment of work of 3-5 freelance resources (dependent upon account needs), including writers, designers, production artists, web developers and strategists. This includes assigning tasks/projects, managing timelines, doing quality control, edits and managing budget. Note that this is not a people-management role. 

Content Strategy and Creation

  • Work with internal resources and agency clients to ensure successful delivery of content that meets the clients standard as well as each of your accounts’ standards for blogs, eBooks, website, landing pages and collateral pieces.

Design Delivery

  • Guide and direct the creative process with the agency client and internal design team & freelancers, to ensure deliverables are on brand and aligned with objectives and overall strategy.

Reporting  & Analysis

  • Review performance metrics (GA, HubSpot) and provide account recommendations. Identify areas for optimization and extract actionable insights within the digital channels.

Education and/or Experience - Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, degree or concentration in Advertising, Digital Marketing, Media, Communications.

Five to eight years of progressive account management experience and /or corporate management experience.
