A growing, privately held international agency in the US mid-west is searching for a President to lead the team through the next phase of their growth. This agency was founded in 2005 with the mission of creating strategic and innovate ways to connect our customers to their customers. Embracing core values of hard work, honesty, clear communication, and innovation, what began as one office with a handful of intelligent, slightly media-obsessed experts, has expanded to six offices across North America.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the CEO, the President will lead the team of 125-150 media professionals through a period of aggressive growth. You bring a strong leadership background, including business development with a large media company. You will capitalize on your existing relationships with media buyers and planners to bring in new business. Experience putting together, presenting and winning large business pitches in the $25 million range, competing with the bigger players is ideal.
A true leader, you pride yourself on building a solid team culture and empowering your staff to accomplish business goals. You will coach and mentor 3 direct reports including the Senior Vice President, Operations, Senior Vice President Strategy, and the Senior Vice President, Activations.
You will lead the team through a period aggressive growth, with plans to double the size of the agency in 36 months.
The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge in the media landscape gained within a tier one media agency experience. He/she will be an exceptional executive leader with the ability to influence change and transformation at various levels to drive strategy with people. The President will be focused on growth with clients and building a strong culture internally. They will be a visionary, passionate about Media and radical collaboration. They will have excellent industry relationships, respected by clients and understand how to successfully run a line of business.
Requirements
8-10 years leadership experience in a large media agency
Proven track record in successful business development
Able to pitch and win business in the $25 million range
Experience managing P&L
Strong motivational leader with a high EQ
Strong interpersonal skills, written & verbal communication
Top notch analytical and decision-making skills
An entrepreneurial mindset
Acute market awareness
Innovative thinker
Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to St. Louis Missouri or Columbia Missouri.
