Business Lead/Account Director
THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is a Toronto-based agency that has been independently making things and designing solutions for the past 20 years. They are looking for someone to develop relationships with senior clients, apply a holistic understanding of their business needs and translate them into agency actions. They will lead the strategy, be a champion for creative, identify and evaluate solutions quickly, and continuously see opportunities for organic growth within their business.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Relationships and building trust at all levels
Health and stability of overarching client relationship
Thoroughly understanding your client’s business
Strategy and Account planning, working closely with strategy team when required
Identification of business problems/client objectives
Leading the client toward a common goal, and keeping all initiatives on track
Forecasting and on-going financial risk assessment
Team performance evaluation and management
Oversee and lead brief development, identifying opportunities beyond the ‘ask’
Training and development of team members
Escalation point for client concerns and issues
Business challenges (internal escalation for junior members of the team)
Providing industry and innovative information to inspire team and client
Being a core member of our family and contributing to our culture

Min. 8+ years of agency experience
A dynamic leader with an entrepreneurial spirit
A big picture strategic thinker, solid communicator, confident presenter
Someone with a clear understanding of what integrated communication truly means
