Assistant Manager - Digital Marketing

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Manager at a leading Toronto-based retail brand. The Assistant Manager will be involved in the research, planning and management of digital marketing channels. The ability to set in motion and see through to completion of digital assets & marketing campaigns will be crucial. We are looking for data-driven, passionate about E-commerce and has experience working with platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics and Affiliates.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage various Marketing campaigns running under and different channels such as Search ads, Display, Programmatic, and Affiliates.

  • Create and optimize campaigns in Double Click Search, Google Ads and Bing Ads platform

  • Contributing to SEM keyword strategy and conversion strategy

  • Campaign Optimization & Maintenance: Post-launch analysis and adjustment

  • Maintains program, data and content calendars with guidance from the manager

  • Advise and provide information related to campaign KPI's, design, creative and online delivery

  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly reporting based on the performance of the account and the business goals

  • Data-driven mindset, and proficiency with Google Analytics, as well as emerging data collection and reporting tools

  • Support team members with any technical issues, troubleshooting and implementing new technical initiatives, related but not limited to Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Dynamic Creative Optimization, HTML5 creative types, Floodlight tag implementation, Google Tag Manager

  • Keenly observing, tracking, and analyzing data throughout a campaign’s life cycle

  • Provide Insights & recommendations on opportunities identified based on the business goals and performance

  • Develop documentation and road maps for processes, A/B tests in digital media channels including search and display media.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 2-3 years experience working in a similar position with digital marketing

  • Background in eCommerce or retail is ideal

  • Experience with Google Ads, Display Ads & Programmatic campaigns is a must

  • Experience with web analytics and knowledge of online campaign management and measurement are important for success in this role.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced creative-led environment both alone and as part of a team
