Group Head, Influencer Marketing
CURRENT SITUATION
Ari Agency is looking for a best-in-class Influencer Marketing leader, to join a leading North American full-service digital agency known for their bold, creative and impactful work. The Agency’s key clients have increasingly turned to them for guidance and expertise when it comes to influencing audiences, the Influencer Marketing team has grown into one of the most exciting and thriving teams in the agency. This role is an opportunity for a brilliant leader to build on that momentum and take their team to the next level.
As a creative and seasoned marketer, you will channel your expertise and demonstrate the value of influencer marketing strategies to new and existing business opportunities. You have a proven track record of growing revenue with your entrepreneurial ethic and drive. You bring a strong point of view and are skilled at merchandising your perspectives internally and with clients.
With the influencer marketing team at its peak since inception, you will steer the team to deliver best-in-class integrated influencer strategies. As a leader, you have contagious enthusiasm and passion for your work which you will leverage to motivate your team and establish the vision and goals for the department. You will advocate with The Agency’s clients to look to this team for expertise and guidance when it comes to influencing their target audiences and taking their integrated marketing campaigns to the next level through stand-out influencer marketing concepts. Reporting to the VP, Digital, you will be a trusted advisor to clients on all influencer marketing matters.
Role Responsibilities
Grow and lead a high performing team of digital storytellers and influencer experts
Be a trusted, passionate and knowledgeable advisor to clients on all influencer marketing matters
Champion the value of strategic, data driven influencer marketing internally and externally to drive new and continued business
Continually maintain a clear, efficient, powerful and consistent influencer marketing process that is ingrained across the agency
Ensure compliance and innovation with client’s influencer marketing governance and lead relationship management activities with key stakeholders in conjunction with The Agency’s account management team
Serve as the visionary prophet of The Agency’s influencer marketing practice: steering the practice (and our agency as a whole) toward best in class and new, powerful trends before they become the norm
Accountability to bottom line growth and overall profitability of the influencer team
Build solid relationships and collaborate with internal accounts, creative and production teams, as well as inter-agency partners, to facilitate knowledge sharing and deliver best-in-class integrated influencer strategies
Deliver industry-leading influencer strategies across paid, earned and owned channels
Job Requirements & Expectations
Qualifications
8+ years of digital/social/content and influencer marketing experience
At least 2+ years in a leadership role
Passionate storyteller with a track record of crafting compelling proposals and selling in impactful work
Proven ability to build business through organic growth and strategic leadership
A digital leader who understands influencers place in the marketing mix and how they can effectively be used to deliver exceptional performance
An inspired communicator who can simplify the complex, persuade the skeptical and build rapport to earn trust
Thought leader in the space who’s on top of new trends, channels, technology, etc. to keep The Agency’s influencer practice best-in-class
Expert in digital content formats and best practices to translate influencer strategies effectively within the digital ecosystem
Entrepreneurial spirit who can navigate ambiguity and is relentless in the pursuit of growth for their practice. Exceptional self-awareness, effective collaborator with strong relationship management capabilities
The incumbent will bring a strong digital-focused mindset, a sense of urgency & resilience and an entrepreneurial spirit & work style. This executive knows how to get into the details, while still being able to operate at 30,000 feet.

Diverse Experience: You bring a diverse range of experiences cultivated from working at multiple communications, PR or marketing agencies and perhaps also client side. You’ve led the strategy and creation of world-class influencer campaigns working with large budgets, brands and agencies and in this regard will bring ‘best practices’ to the team.
Integrated Marketing: Breadth of experience across marketing channels beyond just influencer. Account experience, paid media, PPC, etc.
New Business/Business Development: build strong rapport with clients and take their needs or identify opportunities and turn it in to actionable work for the team.
Influencer Marketing: Ability to speak to why influencer marketing should be a part of client strategies.
Entrepreneurial: Identify new opportunities for clients and the internal team. Ability to take those idea and take action on them.
Culture Fit: proactive communicator, humble, self-aware, innovative, a go-getter, self-motivated, strategic & collaborative.
Leadership and People Management: A track record of building and retaining large teams. A motivator that can inspire and share wins with team members. Build processes and morale.
