Senior Web Analyst

We’re looking for a Senior Web Analyst to shape and deliver the digital analytics and business intelligence roadmap. They will support not only core business goals, but also the strategic longer-term, growth initiatives of the eCommerce department. You’ll provide your stellar strategic expertise to support the growth of our omni-channel business in the areas of analytics, business intelligence and campaign management.
You’ll work with an inclusive, hands-on, collaborative, cross-departmental team that goes above and beyond to support our customers.
The new Senior Web Analyst hire requires a candidate with deep experience in digital and Google Analytics and will support the eCommerce business and broader strategic product and Omnichannel divisions.
You will be a part of the eCommerce division which includes:
1. Digital Traffic (SEO, Email, Paid)
2. Digital Product (DPM/UX/UI); dotted line to IT/Dev
3. Web Merchandising and Product Info
4. Operations

JOB REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS
Responsibilities and Duties:
Support the achievement of the eCommerce & omni-channel financial goals, and delivery against our digital roadmap by providing insights on customer behaviour
Communicate analysis results and make recommendations to senior management
Collaborate with product development teams to optimize our current offerings
Collaborate on an A/B testing roadmap, supporting focused areas of testing, delivering results and recommendations on next steps
Deliver insights to our Web Merchandising team on where effort: value is maximized
Be the knowledge leader for Google Analytics in the organization
Lead the digital initiative to switch to Google Analytics 4
Enable cross-collaboration teams to access our various data sources through business application and visualization tools
Qualifications:
A post-secondary degree or certificate in related discipline e.g., marketing, ecommerce, business administration
5-10 years’ experience with hands-on analytics/data science developing relevant strategies
Experience with SQL and strong proficiency in Python and R
Experience with Google Analytics, BigQuery, and Looker
Experience with overseeing data aggregation, machine learning techniques, data visualization, and experimentation architecture
Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical approach
A highly analytical mind that can translate data into key insights and actions
MS Office proficiency
The ability to effectively communicate analytical insights to a non-technical audience
Track record of solving analytical problems creatively, with clear outcomes and a strong sense of accountability
Exceptional collaborative skills dealing with cross departments
Great communication skills. You have the ability to make complex topics understandable
You can handle many tasks at the same time and meet deadlines, while keeping cool
You’re stoked on something: you love to run trails, log miles, organize hut trips, lean into corners or do something outside every day
Location
You’ll work remotely, however, being located within the surrounding area of Vancouver is preferred as this is where the teams are based.
