Director, Digital Media
We are looking for a Director, Digital Media to serve as a key strategic lead in planning and developing performance digital media planning and optimization.
You know how to partner with internal teams and clients to develop approaches and plans to achieve client business objectives and KPIs through thoughtful media/marketing strategies. You will guide the approach and media mix strategy/investment recommendations across paid media channels, including media mix, audience strategy, creative messaging and measurement plan. The role works closely with Account Management and channel teams to bring the strategy to life and deliver results. With full ownership of cross-channel media strategies across Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic (Display, Video, CTV, Audio, DOOH) and Native/Contextual, you will lead media mix composition, budget allocation, audience architecture, KPI development and measurement frameworks.
This role is dynamic and requires being comfortable working through ambiguities and grey areas that come with an always evolving media ecosystem and consumer media consumption habits. It combines collaborative strategic planning and problem solving with action-oriented decision-making and client-facing leadership to ensure, as a team and a company, we continue to grow and evolve.

As analytics and consumer response experts, we help our clients navigate the ever-changing digital landscape to develop and execute digital marketing strategies and campaigns that consistently deliver a higher volume of acquisitions and a more efficient return on ad spend.
To get the most out of every campaign, we follow a disciplined direct response process and are constantly analyzing data, testing and optimizing. Through our customized strategies and insights into analytics, we develop, create and manage digital marketing campaigns that maximize results for our clients. We are channel and platform-agnostic and offer our clients full transparency on all campaigns.
The working model will be hybrid, and the expected on-site attendance is twice a week to maintain the company culture and ignite collaboration. To support your mandate, you’ll report to the EVP, Performance Digital & Analytics and manage 2-3 specialists while walking in lockstep with Account Management, Strategy, Creative, Analytics, and remaining teams. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with Account Management and Clients to develop a deep understanding of client businesses, industries and competition.
Spearhead planning and strategy sessions with clients and internal teams to understand KPIs, business goals and marketing goals
Drive the development of consumer journey and media consumption maps working with internal teams and clients to ensure an understanding of the consumer experience through the purchase decision-making process and align with the most relevant touchpoints and messaging at each step
Lead the development of cross-channel media strategies across Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic (Display, Video, CTV, Audio, DOOH) and Native/Contextual inclusive of media mix, budget allocation, audience architecture, KPI development and measurement frameworks
Contribute to Creative team on content strategy, calendars, A/B testing, search copy optimization and best practices, native advertising flights and provide strategic insights over the suitability of creative assets (video length, dynamic vs static, number of creative variations, etc.)
Lead ongoing media performance and media mix collaboration with internal channel teams and clients in the ongoing execution of media strategies
Be the steward of media budget planning and allocation for all paid media dollars, leading media mix budget allocations and in-flight re-allocations based on performance.
Review in-flight performance, ensuring teams optimize to target KPIs and propose strategy pivots based on performance.
Lead the development of cross-channel insights working with Account Management, channel and analytics teams to be utilized in client performance engagements, business reviews, etc.
Promote an environment of campaign progression through the ownership of testing frameworks in partnership with channel and analytics teams
Collaborate with Account Management in marketing and account audits and forecasting exercises for clients
Ensure proper creative and analytics team collaboration to deliver successful media campaigns
Partner with Account Management to develop frameworks for business reviews, leading the storytelling of cross-channel insights
Provide client and industry-specific thought leadership in planning and cross-channel integration and measurement
Drive strategic ideation and innovation across your clients and within the organization, facilitating new channel exploration and new partner RFPs
Assist the business development team on pitches for prospective paid media clients

JOB REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
6-8 years of experience working in paid media advertising comprising media activation with multi-channel experience preferred: (search, social, programmatic (display, video, CTV/OTT, audio)
Extensive experience developing, optimizing, analyzing and reporting on media campaigns across brand and performance objectives
Experience leading cross-channel client engagements with minimal oversight
Experience working closely with a given client’s additional agency partners on integrated strategy, planning, and measurement
Experience working with analytics teams on granular program tracking and performance dashboard creation
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and respond to situations quickly
Effective time management and project management skills
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
